Hey guys, so I'm partnered with HST Automotive and we have a booth at EVS-23, and after than San Diego International Auto Show
.
We are finishing a carbon fiber Shelby America 427 cobra conversion that I will be producing in limited quantities next year and a 08 Mustang (the motor had less than 150 miles when we pulled it) that they will be producing next year (isn't licensing fun?)

Unfortunately we won't have any real rubber meet road specs on the cars other than the parts we are putting in them.  We will be doing the performance runs as soon as we can, and plan on running the Shelby in the Electric Draggin event in San Diego.

Now lets face it I think my car (2.S.S.I.C.) should be on the cover of every magazine and newspaper, etc. :)  But seriously how do you guys feel about seeing 2 more prototype cars that promise to be produced next year?  Do you want to see a car that is already on the road with them?

I'm committing to building 10 of the Shelby's next year, because I know I can build that many (parts, labor, etc.)

Thanks, Have Fun,

Michael Kadie

Yes, I agree with you.  Your car should be on the front of every important magazine.  The problem is, when people think of an electric car, they think of a Toyota Prius.

I live in Silicon Valley and everyone drives a Prius.  In fact, it appears you are not cool if you don't have one.  What these people don't realize is that you can take your dream car (mustang, corvette, bentley gtc, s-class) and make it green.

I don't know if you have already completed the 10 cars you mentioned below, but I want to help you achieve your vision...because I have the same vision.

Hi,
I just joined the forum after seeing the electric Cobra.

I'm very interested in a electric/Manual 5spd conversion option.

My 1991 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo is in perfect shape and I've considered the possibility of an all electric or hybrid Hi-Proformance 300ZX.

I'm looking into a sponsorship for the conversion right now, and could also use advice about doing that.
I'm guessing a lot of people would be asking a question like that.

As an electric car newthinker any assistance or helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what is possible with my Diamond black 18 year old 300ZX.
Please feel free to contact me with any thoughts about my project.

Take care,
Jon

Sponsorship is hard, we have done 11 vehicles and are only now seriously looking into getting sponsorships. You have the rule of talk vs do vs do well (usually 100 vs 10 vs 1).

So I would keep the tranny, put in a 8 or 9" brushed dc if on a budget, 1000 amp logisys / whatever controller, and the best batteries you can afford.

Good car choice!
