We Need Your Help
We need help with in no particular order
1. setting up meetings / presentations- I'm bringing the car and the speaker, I need someone to bring the listeners and meeting places.
2. PRESS- I think this is a great opportunity to promote electric alternative vehicles and that I'm ready for my car's close up (I'm not near as good looking as the car).
3. affordable lodging and restaurant information (In and Out burger is on my list of restaurants and I love good hole in the wall places to eat)
4. sponsorship - I have enough money to pull off the trip, but ... first tee-shirts and posters will be distributed Aug 11 , additional printing will be printed as needed with new sponsors being added to material continuously.
5. tee-shirts - design and getting them printed, minimally I'm thinking to have a couple hundred printed and if I can't get sponsors to pay for anything, sell them
6. drop ship locations - right now it is me in my cobra, not a lot of cargo room, so I'm going to need to be able to ship things (like my racing tires) separately
7. arrange cruises / cruise in's - with other electric vehicles and cobras
8. Veggie-oil / Biodiesel / Places to recharge the car - I plan on doing the whole run on a combinations of electric, pure vegetable oil, and biodiesel
9. Races - especially after the NEDRA finals Aug 17-18
10. Spelling apparently

2SSIC - Electric 65 Coupe going on US Tour and Challenging White Zombie for Title
Starting with a launch party at the San Diego Eco Center on August 11, Michael Kadie plans on driving his Electric 65 Coupe on a US, Canada tour promoting electric vehicles, bio-fuels, and racing.
The car - 2SSIC - is a Factory Five Racing kitcar replica of a 65 coupe, with a Warfield electric motor and a Zilla controller, built from the ground up to be an electric race car. Powered by $20,000 worth of state of the art batteries and augmented by an external bio-diesel generator he hopes to have a pure electric range of 100 miles, and achieve in excess of 100 mpg off the diesel generator with NO plug-in augmentation.
He will be giving a series of talks and press conferences along the way in addition to the various events that are being organized - including hot rod and electric car cruises, demo's, races, and most importantly challenging White Zombie for the title of quickest street legal electric.
